Who Signed The Brief In Favor Of Heller?
For those thinking about not voting, or voting for a third party, you may want to look at the following article. At least McCain signed a brief in favor of Heller. Obama and Clinton didn't sign either way.

With the 1000's of federal and state gun laws on the books now, just what would another law do? It's already against the law for a felon, mentally defective or under age person to buy or have a gun ( under age is regulated to not buying and not having a firearm without adult supervision in most places). It's against the law to shoot some one, except in self defence. The practice of straw purchasing, that's talked about so much, is illegal. Fully automatics are illegal, unless you have a federal permit. Background checks are the law, now. Gun control advocates brag that background checks stopped tens of thousands of gun sales to illegal purchasers, but hardly any of these folks, who were stopped from buying a gun, were charged or arrested for trying to illegally buy a gun. Why, the law had their name and address and drivers license on the form ? Was is good enough just to keep the evil gun off the street, not get a felon, buying a gun illegally is a felony isn't it, off the street ? If what needs to be controlled is already against the law, how are more laws going to change anything ? If it's "more" against the law, is a bad guy going to be likely to not do it ? Murder already is against the law and has the most severe punishment , death or life in jail, that can be handed out, but it still happens. Is there one thing, that is not already illegal, there needs to be a new law to fix or is inforcement of current laws what really needs to be pushed ? OK, I've had my rant for the day.
