Feinstein's question about Death Valley is valid.
Also if she had actually taken the time to read the text of the proposal she would know that the answer to her question is clearly stated there in;
"A person may possess, carry, and transport concealed, loaded, and operable firearms within a national wildlife refuge in the same manner, and to the same extent, that a person may lawfully possess, carry, and transport concealed, loaded and operable firearms in any state wildlife refuge, or any similar unit of state land,[b] in the state in which the national wildlife refuge, or that portion thereof, is located[b], provided that such possession, carrying and transporting otherwise complies with applicable federal and state law."

So the answer is right there in plain English clear and completely understandable as well as reasonable.
Persons in Death Valley Park on the CA side would be required to follow CA law while persons in the same park on the NV side would be required to follow the laws as toward that state. Simple and concise, Ms. Feinstein.

hmmmm, poachers in death valley?
If they are poachers, they are criminals, so I don't think they are going to pay any attention to bans on firearms anyway.....

I think that people who oppose the right to bear arms for protection need to be dropped off in parts of towns that even cops are leery of venturing into then tell them it's 2 miles that way to the pickup zone and we hope you make it before you get robbed raped or kilt, now you can walk there unarmed or if you ask nice we will let you have a gun. At that point we will see how pro gun they become

Senator Feinstein Is Opposed To Guns In Parks
She's opposed to guns in anyone's grubby mitts but her own, going by her voting (and "debating") record.
"Open-invitation" to poachers, hm? Well, the PUBLIC's lands are open-invitation to criminals of all sorts, today, criminals of the sort where human lives are on the line. And then there's this: poachers are poaching now. She's going to have to come up with a better waffling explanation as to how the relaxing of restrictions on upstanding citizens is going to alter poachers' behavior in any manner.

Didn't I see a news report about the number of 'grow' farms on federal and state lands?
Sept., 2006 Point Reyes National Seashore
Pot farms ravaging park land / Big raid in Marin County hints at the extent of damaging techniques by growers
The discovery of 22,740 marijuana plants growing in and around Point Reyes National Seashore last week wasn't only the biggest pot seizure ever made in Marin County. It was an environmental mess that will take several months and tens of thousands of dollars to clean up.
The crops seized on the steep hillsides overlooking Highway 1 were planted by sophisticated growers who cleared vegetation, terraced land, drew water from streams through miles of irrigation hoses and doused acres of land with hundreds of pounds of fertilizer and pesticides.
Such operations are turning up in greater numbers within state and national parks throughout California. Federal officials estimate the state produces half of all the marijuana seized on public lands nationwide.

But, of course, the parks are safe. The biggest worry is law-abiding citizens taking down Bambi with a snubbie and Yogi with an Uzi.

For example, Death Valley National Park is in both California and Nevada. California prohibits loaded and accessible weapons in state parks, while Nevada does not, Feinstein said.

She'd never do it.
No one would have a clue who she is
or give a rat's behind about what she says.
Much like most of us on the second part.
