Eric Adams just made a motion to amend S-8456, requiring the superintendent of the state police to examine micro stamping technology available for certain firearms and to report certain findings to the legislature. It failed.

Dale Volker said on the floor New Yorkers Against Gun Violence doesn't want the bill because they (NYAGV) want micro stamping and "the vast majority of police don't."

The bill has been laid aside for the day.
