    Vote Them Out of Office

    November nears. Palin is a nice plus to McCain's ticket, but unlikely to make much difference even if elected. Visit the GOA pages listed below and take note of the 2nd Amendment ratings for your Senators and Representatives and then vote their butts out of office when the time comes!
    Seriously, print these pages out and save them, send letters and vote! Seek out information on your state and local leaders too, and do the same. We the people must take back this Republic!

    For the state of Missouri I find;

    MCCASKILL NR --- She is 100% Anti CCW and follows the Dems beliefs for gun ownership.

    I still can't figure out how that old bag got elected.

    For you in Missouri, be aware that Jay Nixon was opposed to the state CCW. He is now running for governor.

    What on earth is their criteria? Senator Pete Domenici (R)NM has always had an A rating from the NRA and has always been pro-gun. His brother owns a gun shop in Albuquerque! Senators Pat Robertson (R) Ks. and Sam Brownback (R) Ks are two of the staunchest pro-gunners to ever serve in the senate, as is Kay Baily Hutchison (R) Tx.!!! I wonder how they would rate Sam Colt or John Browning???

    Makes you wonder what the outcome would be if the election was held this year and NOBODY voted.

    Just a semantic note:
    We can't actually vote anyone out of office. We can only vote in someone we hope won't be quite as bad.

    Take a look at Udall from the Boulder area of CO. He is running for the Allard senate seat. On his website he rants about using public funds to build rifle ranges and how the 2A is an individual right, but yet he gets an F from both NRA and GOA!

    Udall's website quote
    "I also recognize that Americans' rights under the Second Amendment are not limited to firearms used for hunting, but must include the right to bear arms for other lawful purposes, including personal protection and collecting."

    "My office has also been working with recreational shooters to secure safe and convenient shooting ranges in Colorado."

    "On gun legislation in general, I hold the view that the burden of proof is on those seeking changes to the laws already on the books, and that we must do a better job of enforcing these existing laws before embarking on new restrictions or regulations. "

    Am I missing something?? I know he's a Dem. I like Schaffer better but I don't know his rating and if you ask them directly they may lie.

    This is another thread that is going to disappear in short order if it is not strictly kept to 2A. I will be, for now, removing all of the shots at presidential candidates. If you don't like someone for any other reason than their 2A position, I would encourage you to keep it to yourself.....
