I reckon that would kinda put a damper on the reloading hobby, now wouldn't it?

    Well, it's not law yet...
This is exactly why one must begin stock up now. It isn't going to be any cheaper anyway, so why not get as much as possible...NOW!

This is not, "The sky is falling...". It's just a taste of what is to follow.

Stay armed...get your ammo now...stay safe!

I fully expected that. We can look forward to further efforts to make it difficult to buy ammo.

I'm glad to see there's nothing for Ohio...yet.

Fight the good fight, and maybe the Ohio and other states "powers-that-be" will see it's a no go and not even submit a bill. But I'd also like to win the lotto and fly like superman...

Well, some States will watch those states to see how it goes, and then if successful without legal challenges or the public up in arms, then they'll slide it right into law as well. So, what goes on in one state, most likely will have impact on us all. They are testing the waters.

Limiting how much ammo you can buy per month. 1 box per month. That's just one provision.

"Excuse, me... " "Yes, I was wanting one those boxes of 1000 rounds over there".

I've said it before and I'll say it again we need to be proactive and write our reps and tell them how you feel about this.

Haven't heard anything about it down here in Arkansas. Hopefully we won't either.

It's aimed at my state (South Carolina)

No later than January 1, 2012, all noncoded ammunition owned by private citizens and retail outlets must be disposed.
I guess I'll have to hide my stock pile and carry only coded ammo

Another thing to consider is if god forbid this passes on the federal level then it won't matter what state you happen to reside in. We need to do our part join the NRA,contribute to them and vote, vote, vote accordingly in 2 years.

This is outrageous!!! How do I get in contact with Kentucky officials about this? I want to send out emails to my "elected" officials post-haste. I would like to encourage my fellow Kentuckians who own guns to join me. The person/persons who drafted this have made me very cranky. Too big brother for my liking.
