Based on that chart, there are a lot of currently uncaught criminals who consider themselves to be law abiding gun owners and there are quite a few who are currently law abiding who will only become criminals once they use a gun in a crime.

Some of the declarations are just ignorant or stupid...

Wish to see their fellow citizens armed and able to defend themselves.

This definitely isn't true across the board.

Have often learned to safely use firearms from a young age, under responsible adult supervision.

Many have not.

Have a great respect for human life.

This is quite arbitrary.

Often enjoy a harmonious relationship with nature.

This is absolutely stupid. Yes, some do. Some are Rush Linbaugh types are those who see harmony with nature meaning being able to exploit nature at its fullest.

Are disarmed by gun control laws.

...but have vowed to not comply with any new disarmament laws such as may be proclaimed by the Obama campaign
