I am neither a lawyer nor a government employee.

And I am the one that continues to espouse that the Constitution is simple and straightforward, not requiring the five chosen elite to rule over the people of the United States. Some want to defer every social and political controversy to the robed oligarchy. I prefer to endorse the Founder's intent for the nation: self governance at a local level. The People are more than capable of reading the Consitution and determining what it means.
