Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.

Aw come on! Give 'em a break.

They just want to keep the kids safe.

Don't you realize how many lives this will save?

Remember when the Washington Bullets changed their name to the Wizards? Remember how many lives were saved then?

They are just looking forward to the day they can ban the word "gun" or "firearm".

It gives me a warm fuzzy!!!

"With the way things are going these days, with the kids bringing guns to school and bomb threats, (photograph) is something to be concerned about."
Yes, we need to portray guns as bad, evil things to be avoided at all cost. If we show every day citizens with them...people might not think of them as evil!

because NOT having select armed teachers in schools makes it safer for select kids to bring guns and bombs to school! duh!

Yep only a picture, of a person doing her own thing on her own time, but unfortuntanely the sheep are scared.
A herd of scared sheep can often be more dangerous than one woman who owns a gun.
If the teachers at my daughters school weren't sheep she might be getting and education instead of a brainwashing.

I would have been at an attorney's office within the hour. They have no right to do this... it's her choice and right to do what she wants and to post on their anything she wants... because it is a gun is silly. What if it was a bow & arrow ? What if she were an Oliympic shooter ? What if she was in the Military Reserves and in uniform holding an M16 ?

The schools continue to over step their boundaries , even on students... and needs to stop.

The school here got excited because someone "outside of school" discovered I took my son to the range shooting, and told the school that I was teaching my son to shoot "guns". They asked me about it, and asked if I thought that was a good idea..... and how they might expel him. I told them I think it's a real good idea or I wouldn't be doing it, and if they expelled him for something that didn't have a damn thing to do with school... "TRY IT & I'LL OWN YOU".

It's stupid... and I hope she fights it rather than "submits".

Pretty dumb situation, and I agree that it sounds like the school opened itself up to litigation. But the article made it seem like the teacher was fairly well cowed and just wanted it to all go away.
