I never understand why these polls are worded like this. A simple yes/no response would be adequate. Instead there are 4 possible responses and three of them are some version of "no."

She started out with some good 2A sensibilities but the downstate libs will reprogram her into an anti by the next election cycle. NYS is doomed because of NYC. The political wishes of one city dictate the policies for the entire state. NY is a sinking ship headed straight for the bottom of the ocean and nobody in Albany seems to notice. 50 years of democrat rule has stripped away the luster from this once great state and left it a quivering husk of its former self. May God help us over the next four years because things are about to get even worse with a welfare-minded administration running Washington.

    As I understand it:

    1) Her NRA rating was basically "hunting" oriented -- not CHP oriented.

As I have said before, shame on those who take the position "My RKBA for my choices are not under attack; I don't want/need one of 'those' etc."

IMHO -- An attack on any RKBA is an attack on every RKBA.

"When the Nazis arrested the Communists,
I said nothing; after all, I was not a Communist.
When they locked up the Social Democrats,
I said nothing; after all, I was not a Social Democrat.
When they arrested the trade unionists,
I said nothing; after all, I was not a trade unionist.
When they arrested me, there was no longer anyone who could protest."

Martin Niemöller (1892—1984), Protestant pastor and social activist

    2) She got her positive NRA rating some time ago and has been on a downhill slide every since.

NY just became a Democratically controlled state again with the last election. I really don't think that you can blame all of the policies at the Democrat's feet here.

It is a shame a great state is being dragged down into the crime infested stinking cesspool that NYC is. The rest of NY isn't a bad place to visit or live.

I wonder how much protection she thinks they are with the bullets stored elsewhere.

From what I've read, she never been into "protection" -- just sport.

She is a schlub. She will probably support any gun control legislature that comes up. She will do whatever it takes to keep her seat. Just my opinion

Vote, then take a look at the results. 96.5% have no problem with it. At least that's encouraging.

Can somebody edit the title to the thread to indicate there's a poll?

She don't need guns because she probably has a some other form of protection.
I'm wondering what additional gun laws are on the agenda in NY. They've already proven that they don't work.

New York Senator Moves Guns From Under Her Bed - Presidential Politics | Political News - FOXNews.com

She said the guns were for protection in a Fox News report, but they were unloaded. Um, that means she basically had 2 heavy sticks under her bed.

    Also this comment concerend me:

Gillibrand has said that her views are broadening as she moves from representing one rural district to the entire state. She has said she would work to fight gun violence while still protecting hunters' rights.
It's not only about hunters and their guns. It about gun ownership, period, to hunt with to protect with or just to friggin plink with.
