When I was in the army I had a 1911 machine gun on me...7 rounds in a second. Talk about a surprise! This guy is being railroaded by the ATF.

    What a crock!!

A similar thing happened to a fellow club member at a match some years back. Of course we all took turns "testing" the malfunction.

I heard about this case last year.

    What a load of crap.

And what a screwed up law.

I hope that guy gets off.

The moral of the story is: Don't loan any semi-autos to your friends. What they got him for was transferring an machine gun.

Boy I'll say. Those ATF* wienies are hard line. They left no room for the spirit of the law and neither did the judge.

Had I been on that jury, I would have held out & hung it. No way he would have gone to jail on my vote.

*They weren't so hard line when one of their own female agents left her side arm in the bathroon, inside the sterile area at Milwaukee's Mitchell Field. She received counseling from her boss.
