Are we really that bored?
I hate to ask this but, is the gun community really that bored after this past election cycle?
The reason I am asking, is that on this forum and others similar to it there have been numerous posts and threads about:
List of assault weapons up for ban.
Changing demil codes on spent brass.
Airline pilots not being able to stay armed.
The end of the USA as we know it is at hand.
I am sure I am leaving something out, but after the initial outrage from the start of the post or new articles that shows up, when everything is hashed through, what are we finding? Basically it is a bunch of crap that doesn't have any documented material to go along with it, and folks have argued pages of posts about whether the sky is falling or not.
So, really are we that bored, since after the election many thought that there would be a full forced assault on the RKBA, and so far nothing has happened? Are we so disappointed in not getting to fight right off the bat, that we are making up stuff just so we can get out pent up anger on someone even though they have done nothing?
Edited:Clarification: I am amazed how gullible some folks are, is referring to how easily folks believe any and all unfounded articles or posts claiming attacks on the 2A
Precisely what others would say too
This type of over the top rhetoric is precisely what was often said about the previous occupant of the White House.

None of us could do better. Which is why we don't run for office.
Our flaws would be quickly detected by everyone else and we would be unsuccessful.
We have to start with a premise that our elected officials intend to uphold the constitution, per their oath. From that point on, we might want to discuss and debate whether or not they actually do so, but let's at least give the benefit of the doubt for good intentions.
I couldn't stand the former president, but I don't think he was evil. And our present president is not evil either.
