    Has anyone actually been harmed?
Should we all wait to take action until someone is? Shades of Nazi Germany. The German people waited until it was too late. Shades of Czarist Russia. The Russian people waited until it was too late. There are many other instances of "no one has been harmed yet" attitudes leading to totalitarianism. What I see is creeping Socialism in my beloved United States of America. No, rather than creeping, the obama administration is turning to jogging socialism. And one of the ways in which this is predicated is the removal of the citizens ability to protect themselves from government. Labeling is just one brick in the wall.

Abraham Lincoln boiled it down, ""The people are the masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it"

I don't think it wise to wait until someone knocks on my door because I've been labeled a "right wing extremest" before I do my part.

We all make our choices. I would much rather live with mine than live with those made for me.

I guess that I will find my ansewr when it goes to court. I am not taking her side on this issue. My question is only can a person who can not show they were harmed sue someone?

I wear a firearm to church, can I sue obama because of his guns and God statement? Has anyone had anything other than their feeling hurt? If some can show actual harm I say sue their pants off! Go for it!

Maybe you didn't get the memo.
This administration is only concerned with 'man caused disasters'and 'right wing extremists'.

I wonder if classifying us as right wing extremists gave the F.B.I. the green light (and/or other government agencies) to begin surveillance at multiple gun shows, and all the TEA-Parties, as of recent. Although Im not sure that it hasnt been an ongoing thing.

So... Who's gonna make up some bumper stickers? Maybe something like..."Im a right wing extremist and all I got was this lousy bumper sticker"
Note: This post may contain misspellings, grammatical errors, disorganized sentence structure, or may entirely lack a coherent theme. These elements are natural to the process of writing, and will only add to the overall beauty of the post.

Actually, I have to chuckle. I was thinking the very same thing. The person who wins in all this is the bumper sticker maker, cha-chinging all the way to the bank.

Everytime I've flown in uniform, I've been surrounded by people who come up thanking me, if not crying while doing so. It's nothing like it was back then, except in a certain few places that have never shown support for the military in the first place, and very far leftists. However, even then, most of them don't give us any problems.

So no, today is nothing like it was back then. I've never felt persecuted for being in the military, unless you count bickering between branches of the forces, which is nowhere near any of this.

As for that report, I guess I'm screwed in every way. Military, gun owner, Christian.

Her apology is lame. The horse is already out of the barn
I did not see or hear her apology on the radio/TV.
This woman is nothing more than another "Hey Boy" for Obama.

    Here you go:

Phoenix Republican Examiner: Napolitano?s apology to veterans: Timothy McVeigh ?was a vet?

When asked if she felt an apology to veterans was necessary, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano obligingly offered one, reminding folks that Timothy McVeigh was in fact, a Vet.
Click on the link -- there's a video.

I'm glad the current crop of "leaders" are being called out for this stuff. Gotta keep the pressure on and let your representatives know that we won't let them slip anything by.

The expression dates back to Ancient Greece ~ AKA "I call a fig a fig, a spade a spade," ~ and has been used in many various forms since in literature - none having to do with race.

The member that originally posted with it obviously did not use it in any racially motivated context. Let's end it and do not further derail the thread or it be closed.
