New gun law an insult to citizens - Berkshire Eagle Online

    Monday, May 11
As an owner of a licensed gun shop in Massachusetts, the new gun law introduced by Gov. Patrick will make me feel so much safer and will actually make my job easier. Now, when all of the gang-bangers, drug dealers, addicts and common criminals come in to buy a gun, I will be able to tell them they can only buy one a month. That will be such a load off my shoulders and will make the streets so much safer. Right!
This new law, while having some parts that may further address firearms use in a crime, attacks lawfully licensed gun owners, and is a kick in the teeth to this law-abiding group of citizens.

We need to address crime, not law-abiding citizenry. The aforementioned gang bangers, drug dealers and addicts and common criminals do not buy their guns in legal gun shops, and they are not licensed by the state. Patrick needs to realize that we already have more gun laws than most other states. The real need is for us to enforce what we have.

Of course, creating laws, even redundant ones and ones that don't address criminals, gives purpose to our legislators' existence. Shame on Patrick for treating his law-abiding citizenry like the common criminals who actually have more freedoms than we do.

I have supported Pete's Gun Shop with a few buys, great bunch to do business with.
Our Gov. Patrick is an Obama mini-me, anti-gun socialist who runs rough shot over the law abiding citizens of Mass.

Nice letter...will someone have to read it and explain it to Gov. Patrick?

Patrick's a bright one he is.

I believe he's the gov that's got a free car w/ AAA insurance for those on the state welfare Program.

He now enjoys a disapproval rating of 56%.
The last week of February he enjoyed a +13% net approval rating.
Two months later he was at -15% net approval rating.

Like so other things, will he be re-elected though?

Not a joke, low approval ratings mean something to someone, but when it comes election time, they seem to fade in some instances.
