He just put a giant X on the rest of his political career as far as I'm concerned. The article quotes him saying that guns and alcohol don't mix, well I guess he didn't read the bill, Permit Holders can't drink and carry Einstein !! If you're going to oppose it at least have a REAL GOOD reason not some inane pap.

Everybody here remember this idiot. He'll surely run for some other office eventually, and won't just be our problem.

Hopefully we have enough votes in the house to override his veto.

Please contact Governor Bredesen TODAY and respectfully urge him to sign HB962 and HB716. The Governor can be reached by phone at (615)741-2001 or email Phil.Bredesen@tn.gov.

I just called and asked to speak with the Governor only to be told he was not available to take my call. The lady who answered asked the purpose of my call and took my statement as I asked the Governor to re-consider his plan to veto HB962.

I encourage everyone in Tennessee to do the same. I had already sent him an email a couple of weeks asking him to sign this into law.

They have the article headline wrong,. (no suprise there) Shouldn't read "BAR'S",.. Although we should be able to carry ANYWHERE, that isn't how that bill is wrote up..

    Number of States

What is the Number of States that allow carry in places that serve alcohol? In my liberal Minnesota, do not be over .04 and only one problem reported in many years.
