Arizona Restaurant Carry Bills Moving Forward!
KTAR.com - Senate considers allowing guns near alcohol
Thankfully, now that the legislature has a budget on the governor's desk Bob Burns is allowing non-budget bills to be heard. Hopefully Arizona will follow the lead of Tennessee and make this law happen! It is common sense legislation that makes AZ restaurants like any other business in AZ as far as legal carry and restriction rather than singling them out.
I also like that it makes the crime drinking and carrying rather than being in a place that serves alcohol and carrying. IMAO drinking and carrying is a lot like drinking and driving (stupid and dangerous) but that is another post!
If you are an AZ resident make sure you write your state senator to move this bill along!!

What you need to do is look up your legislators by district. Find your legislators at this link:
Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission - Interactive District Maps
Then enter your address in the upper right hand corner and you will find both your senate and house district. Then go on the member information page for the AZ legislature to find your representatives.
Member Roster
You can sort that list by district. The list contains phone numbers and email addresses for your representatives. Contact them and let them know your opinion!

Once you know your district, go to the member roster and find the representatives in house and senate that represent that district (the district is listed in a column). Their email address is listed for them, as is their telephone number and mailing address.
