I got the issue this weekend, my lib relatives get me the subscription every year to counter the fact that I make them NRA members every year. Texas Monthly, for all of the other DC members community is an uber-liberal publication here that is populated by a bunch of Austin "journalists" who preach their brand of liberal gospel to the masses....
Thats why Ted absolutely mortified my family members when they got their copies of TM.....

I started the magazine subscription battle with my lib relatives because I had to listen to their drivel every Christmas, so one year (1998) I decided that I had had enough, so I told them all that I was getting even.
So now, my sister who works for Reps. Charlie Rangel & Richard Neal gets a copy of American Rifleman delivered to her office (which is their office), my brother works in a lib think-tank and they get their copy, and Mom & Dad get theirs at the old family homestead....
I figure it is money well spent, especially since Charlie himself sent me a letter in 2002 thanking me for my "2nd amendment" concerns, and to please refrain from having the magazine sent to their office.
My reply was a photocopy of the subscription renewal.... For the next 3 years.

The thing that scares the heck out of me is that so many people DON'T think like him. It baffles my mind that people are willing to just bend over and take whatever some scumbag feels like doing to them. I may go out, but I ain't gonna go out like that.:mad:
