Jindal approves tax break legislation for gun sales

    Jindal approves tax breaks

Governor Bobby Jindal has approved tax break legislation for the movie, video game and music industries.

Along with those three bills, Jindal on Thursday signed into law tax breaks for ports and companies doing certain research and development projects.

Hunters also got tax help. Jindal signed a bill creating the so-called "Annual Second Amendment Weekend Holiday," a three-day period in September with the 4% state sales taxes waived for purchases of guns, ammunition and a wide range of other hunting supplies
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

Can your neighbors to the West join in on this program?

Good for him and good for LA. I sure with Slick Perry would do this for us.

That's a pretty cool concept and something I'd be more than happy to take advantage of if I lived in LA.

I'm just one root in a grassroots organization. No one should assume that I speak for the VCDL.

I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

Nice move by the Gov...in an ideal world, we would get a 'tax credit' for buying the 'tools' to defend youself and the family.

If he runs he's got my vote and every vote I can wangle from everyone I know. You gotta remember, in every election each Illinois resident votes early, and often.

Jindal is a top notch governor and has done wonders for Louisiana. During the last Republican convention, Jindal did not attend because he was staring down a hurricane. On his watch, Louisiana was much better off than it was when the Democrats had the job (Katrina). He is young, competent and full of good ideas.

That said, he has a few hurdles to contend with. One is that he really flopped on his "republican response" to Obama's first State of the Union. He appeared to have neither gravitas nor charisma, and this cut into his national momentum. The other thing is that he has some events in his past that could be used to portray him as a religious nut. For example, he once participated (possibly as an observer) in an exorcism. I think there is either audio or video of it. That can be used to make him look like a flat-earth nut, even though he isn't.
