    GRNC Update 08-09-09:

    Hagan Votes For Anti-Gun Sotomayor

BETRAYS HER PRETEND SUPPORT OF SECOND AMENDMENT

Proving the hollowness of her recent claims of being a supporter of
the Second Amendment, Senator Kay Hagan voted to confirm solidly
anti-gun Supreme Court Nominee, Sonia Sotomayor.

On her website, Hagan stated - we presume with a straight face - of
the judicially activist Sotomayor, "She has an established record as a
moderate judge whose decisions show a respect for precedent."

On the bright side, as expected, Senator Richard Burr was rock solid
on this issue and voted against Sotomayor's confirmation. On the
bleaker side, not surprisingly Sotomayor was confirmed by the US
Senate; the current majority of which has a severe freedom allergy.

"Party" matters more to her than the will of the people she was hired to represent. She needs to go!
