One small step for residents of Illinois, one giant reason I'll still not visit the state unless there is a family funeral or work related demand.

I used to travel to Chicago a lot when I was a driver, and whenever we would get dispatched out there, they would be sure to remind us that we can't have a gun in the truck at any time.

I never stayed the night or purchased anything in that state. I wish I could have boycotted the place altogether, along with California.

God willing, I will continue to be able to avoid the state of Illinois.

"The Constitution affords our citizens the right to protect themselves and their families with firearms and that right should not end because of where they are," he said.

Uh, Ok, then why do I have to unload it and separate the ammo when in my car???? I hate IL. I have in-laws there and am sometimes forced to visit. IME the whole state pretty much sucks.
