    New Anti-Gun Legislation

    Well here it is folks! The latest from the anti-gun crowd to be on the floor. It's called, "HR 45 - The Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009"
    I urge any and all of you to please google this and see what it says. I read this on Snopes so this may be for real! I truly hope it's a hoax or I'm wrong but it is scary none the less!
    I plan on contacting my representative as soon as the week begins! Wouldn't you know I find out about this over Labor Day weekend!!
    We can't ignore this and hope it goes away folks!

    No co-sponsors, stuck in committee, Obama is not going to touch a gun control bill. He's already signed a law with a pro gun amendment attached. The Republicans will likely pick up seats in the Senate (and the Senate was already safely pro-gun anyway) in 2010. So even if he was stupid enough to try (he's not) he couldn't get anything substantial through.

    He won't push for anything before and unless he's re-elected, and even then it's not a sure thing.

    ya this bill has been sitting their for a while. It would cause a big problem in the gun community and they know this. I have all ready contacted my congressmen on this subject and i dont see this going anywhere except into the file 13 bin.
