I'm about four emails deep with the Governator.

So today, I thought I'd call. The nice lady on the recording told me how much the Governor values my input.

What happens in Cali if the Governor takes no action? Pocket veto or automatic pass?

From what I've read, it's an automatic pass if there is no veto by the 10th of October.

    Call, call, call.

AB962 has become law. And, no doubt is headed into court very soon for conflicts with existing federal law that preempts it. Doesn't take effect until Feb 2011 anyway. Unfortunately this is now something for other states to copy...

Our Governor has lost the last ounce of respect that I had for him. I know for a fact that pro-gun folks in CA lit up his phone/fax/email on this issue. It is inexcusable that he failed to act on this controversial bill.

If you think the ammo shortage was bad before, wait till you see the empty shelves now that this has passed.

Well, that pretty much guarantees I won't move back to CA, ever. I loved growing up there. I love to visit there. You can't beat the weather with a stick, and pretty soon sticks will be outlawed there too.

I miss In-n-Out and Fat Burgers but you can get both in Arizona as I understand and I don't see any reason to go past the Western Arizona border anymore.

If I was allowed to say the F word it would go before California now....

That place was a massive part of my life but never again.

And you can bet that Schwartz will never stay seated again past this term. I guarantee the California people will vote him out.

I agree that I will never go back to live in California. I now live in Texas and have lived here for six years and felt more free than I ever lived in California. I am just sad to see my home now taken over by the Socialist and a person I once admired turncoated all of us.

Visited San Fran over spring break and loved it. Thought I wanted to move out there until I heard this! Unbelievable!
