Marta crime rate falls in wake of gun law
I like this story, but with enough study of statistics I am a touch worried about the time frame. This could well be regression to the mean going on, so I would not crow too much. Regardless, crime rates did not skyrocket.
Yay for positive stories!

Atlanta's mayor went so far as to declare, "The presumption needs to be, in order to have a safe city, that there are no concealed weapons."
As Ron White says, "Cain't fix stupid." Good for Atlanta. Let's see how the brady bunch spins this.

Armed people are polite people.
Bad people, not knowing who is armed tend not to pick on people, they might be able to really fight back.

Well I dont live in Atlanta but I do live about 40 miles north of the downtown area. Kasim Reed the new mayor has a 100% voting record against all pro-2a gun rights.
I hope the NRA vs. Chicago case rules once and for all that no one EVER can regulate our 2A rights... err privileges err rights ... im confused???

So now that the law is working, some federal judge decides to legislate from the bench.
