Trumpets recent victory to be grateful for this Christmas

Score one for the Gun Owners of America, a lobby group positioned well to the right of the National Rifle Association…. [T]o pacify GOA, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (who represents the gun-loving state of Nevada has inserted into his “manager's amendment” a section titled “Protecting 2nd Amendment Gun Rights.” It states that no wellness program implemented under health reform may require disclosure or collection of any information relating to gun ownership.

But the cat's out of the bag. Practically anything you ever tell anyone makes its way around sooner or later. And all of us here are telling everyone, at least our IP addresses.

I think its pitiful that language like that should even be included. It shouldnt be an issue, but obviously it is.

Why does it seem that our own people in Congress are hostile to us?

They consider themselves 'Aristocrats' and we are the 'serfs' that are to be lorded over.

Translation? I'm kind of tracking here, but I am not sure...

So the GOA is actually now responsible for something.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

Ok. So, no wellness program implemented under Obamacare will ask it. That doesn't preclude pre-existing programs from asking (and yes, this administration has been playing those kinds of word games). It also doesn't prevent the CDC from declaring gun violence to be a health issue that Obamacare should address, and that wouldn't be a wellness issue, but a crisis.
