    MD Senate Bill 516: "Maryland Assault Weapons Ban of 2010"

    Persons who are residents of Maryland need to ACT NOW!!!

    Those of us among border states such as VA, PA, DE and DC too need to lend our MD brothers in arms material support...By way of donated time and monies to support a grassroots campaign _AGAINST_ this.

    Contact your friends, family and anybody even remotely political.
    This bill reads as though they literally copy & pasted the law as it stands in CA in whole.

    Not even the MA AWB law as currently in place is this restrictive!

    Designating specified firearms as assault weapons; prohibiting with specified exceptions a person from transporting an assault weapon into the State or possessing, selling, offering to sell, transferring, or receiving an assault weapon; requiring the Handgun Roster Board to compile and maintain a roster of prohibited assault weapons; etc.

    Why, oh why do they insist on feel-good laws that do nothing but criminalize law-abiding citizens?

    Why?

    Because there are a whole bunch of ignorant and/or purposfully effusive persons such as this lady who are out there 'informing' them...
