+1. I recall him mentioning people needed guns during Katrina because the police couldn't protect anyone. Now it's OK for them to seize guns because THEY lose control.

The debate between Socialism and Capitalism is only over because Capitalism was bound, gagged, and locked up in a deep, dark dungeon around about the time the Fed was established and income taxes started being levied. Capitalism didn’t lose. Capitalism was never even allowed to show up for the debate—because if it had been, it would have won hands down. The best way for the Socialists to assure victory has always been to cheat.

It was apparent during the interview that O'Reilly doesn't understand the history/background of the 2nd amendment or what the Oath Keepers are about. He should have done a lot more listening then talking during the interview.

That's a good thing. I really tire watching Bill and sometimes can't even stomach his fence straddling.

Glenn Beck puts on a great show, IMHO. He sometimes is a little too passionate, and I don't like the teary-eyed parts. But his investigations reveal a lot of questionable relationships between our leaders. I also love the way Beck is constantly quoting and teaching the Constitution.

I think Mr. O'Reilly has been slipping of late. I think he's more worried about his ratings than anything else. He's starting to pith me off!

The first thing any self-respecting dictator does is declare a "state of emergency".

In those type of cases, the city may be "out of control of the authorities" because people are not happy about being subjected to a totalitarian government, and are attempting to stop it.

But I think one thing is most critical to keep in mind here:

The real reason that people like O'Reilly believe stuff like this is, they see order as of paramount importance, even if that order is complete despotism. Liberty has no value to them, because to them it has no meaning...everything is seen in 'realpolitik' terms.

I'm surprised that you guys took so long to wise up about O'Reilly. I knew he was a blowhard years ago. He doesn't really have any "stance" on any issue. Instead he's a devils advocate who will say anything contra to what his guests say. Even if it contradicts what he just said in the previous seconds and if it sounds insipid.

He is pro-control because HE is among the upper echelons due to his media personality (Thus his stance is really pro-O'reilly and anti-peon). But, there are a couple others on Fox who are equal to/worse than O'Reilly.

Beck is a media con artist who tries to use theatrics to convince his viewers that he's "on to something." He's not and he often quotes stuff which is factually wrong and/or misquoted/misworded. If your kids acted that way about anything would you listen to them? Then why listen to Beck? Seriously, if I want to watch someone throw a tantrum I'll visit the daycare center.

Megan Kelley is a total corncob up her butt idiot. Inarticulate, no common sense, no opinion except if it's bad it's bad because she thinks its bad because someone else told her it was bad. Out of touch on everything. Her only attribute is that most viewers think she's a babe.

And, don't even get me started on Hannity. Hannity INVENTS stuff so that he can proselytize his views on everything anti-democrat/Obama. He's even taken to spouting off against stuff that just last year he thought was GREAT!! because Bush was doing it. Now that Obama is doing the same stuff, it's horribly bad. Hypocrite is too small a word for him.

Greta is a total mouthpiece. No originality and in bed with the anti-s.

Cavuto isn't too bad. His show is a bit light where it counts but at least he's actually got his fingers on the pulse of the real world.

I used to watch BO, but after his statement on gun confiscation during an emergency when honest people really need them, makes him a "PINHEAD"

Rob P., that was an entertaining tirade. However, have you any thing to offer to substantiate your claims regarding Hannity, and Beck?

What is your personal favorite, CNN, or perhaps MSNBC?

p.s. I am surprised that you did not enlighten everyone years ago, after you determined that O'r was a 'blowhard'. Think of all the people that would have 'wised up' then, that would not have wasted so much time watching the guy! Mind you, I am not taking up for the pompous, arrogant fellow, but how do you characterize your first two sentences?

Carry OK: You basically don't like Fox News. Then, who do you watch? Indeed o reilly is a pinhead. You make sean and greta look as if they are no different than MsNBC or CNN?
