Bill O'Reilly is too soft on many issues in my opinion.
this is one of them.
Where is it stated anywhere that the constitution is suspended for any resion?
"I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution, which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents." -1792, James Madison
There are always too many Democratic, Republican and never enough U.S. congressmen.
I sometimes watch Bill O' but he is all over the page on many topics.
I wonder how he would feel if they disarmed his body guards.
It is time for a new talk shot host on Fox to take his hour.
NOT LIVING IN FEAR, JUST READY!!!
What a doober. You start sliding down that slippery slope Reilly was defending, and where does it end? Doesn't matter state of emergency or not.
Walk quietly and carry a big stick.
why does anyone care what that idiot thinks? in case you missed it, he's not a reporter, he's an entertainer, not much different from John Stewart. he's got no real political influence, excpet for the influence he exerts over anyone dumb enough to buy into his idiocy. he's no different than Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, except that he takes himself seriously.
I believe Glen Beck's viewer count has surpassed Bill's. At least during one week it did and that was done in a much worse time slot.
A week or two ago it was mentioned that Glen's time slot was going to shift and I think it's going to be either 7 or 8 eastern time.
That's a good thing. I really tire watching Bill and sometimes can't even stomach his fence straddling.

Sometimes a little too much selfrighteous bloviating BS from his pie hole.

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
I have come to the same conclusion, lately!
I used to really like BO, but through the last year or two, he has shown his true colors...a fence sitter on many issues until he tests the waters to see what he thinks his opinion should 'safely' be.
I quit taping his show, as I never used to miss it, now I don't watch him nearly as much.
I have also noticed that Glen Beck has somewhat stolen Bill's thunder, and now it seems that Biil appears to be trying to ride Glen's coat tails of popularity.![]()
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

That's exactly the problem. Too many "idiots/ignorant" people will take what he says and accept it as their own doctrine. All you have to do to find that out is look at fashion. If some big famous person wears it, no matter how ugly and out of place it is, it most likely will catch on at least 70% of the time. So from the ignorance of his watchers that believe him comes the political influence. You don't have to be a politician to have political influence all you need is an audience
I generally enjoy Bill's show, but I was horrified at this segment the other morning when I saw it.
Bill truly has been breathing his own fumes too long. I get the impression that he's confident of whatever thought that enters his mind at the moment, must be the right thing. 'Smug and arrogant' just are not endearing qualities.
Now Glen, even though he can annoy me with some of his condescending object lessons - I do admire his passion.

I'm with some of you. We used watch him alot until his fence straddling became too much! No BO for the last couple of years because of this kind of stuff.
I only have two things to say about Bill O'Reilly.
Bill Cunningham & Michael Savage.
