Don't punish those who abide by the laws

I would be less worried about the person who has a concealed weapon and is not drinking in a restaurant that serves alcohol than the person who has been drinking and then leaves and gets behind the wheel of a car.

I do not know what the statistics are, but I would bet a paycheck that more people are killed or hurt by drunken drivers around the country who have just left a bar than people in a bar with a concealed weapon. Any takers?

Now I know there will be a few who will carry a concealed weapon in a restaurant and have a drink, but I also know there will be a few who have been drinking who will leave the restaurant, know that they have had too much and still drive home.

What do we do? Shut down all the bars and restaurants that serve alcohol? Punish the many for what the few do? I would hope not.

Let us continue to punish the few who choose to break the law and leave the law-abiding people alone.
