Local University tries to stop shooting range

A Savannah School tries to Stop a gun range form opening through zoning. It's interesting because there's actually video from the city council hearing.

Luckily, the City Council voted in favor of Mission Essential, which already has a gun store in the same strip mall where the range will be. This school is across a 6 lane highway from this shopping area and their arguments were plain idiotic. This meeting was from last Novemeber.

Good news, every time i go to Sav. i am loaded for bear, if some of those liberal SCAD students would start carrying they wouldnt be getting mugged and killed as often...If you go downtown or to river street you had better be carrying.

Several SCAD students tried unsuccessfully to get carry allowed. SCAD shot it down everytime. I don't think it's the liberal SCAD students, but the administration that's the problem. Most of the students are much more afraid of the criminals downtown than allowing law abiding citizens to carry.

I dont know about current scad students but the scad graduates i know are very anti gun and anti hunting.
