I don't have a problem with keeping guns out of the hands of Criminals, But anything coming out of Chicago likely has a bunch of other crap to keeps guns out of honest citizens hands too.
The problem is that the Criminals in Chicago are in public office.
It's natural for them to not want honest people to have guns.
It might hinder some of their operations.
It is better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb...

First of all, I love how they always trot out parents of kids killed with guns. What they don't say is that those kids were killed by other kids who were illegally posessing and using the guns, which no gun control law would stop.

I thought CA already learned that this technology doesn't exist and is impractical to impliment and simple to defeat. So why spend millions of dollars on technology that won't help?
I like the part about this being a smoke screen so they don't have to actually deal with Chicago's real problems, because they don't know how to.
