I was grossly disappointed with the durability of my Woolrich Elite pants... didn't hold up past a few launderings. For the same price, 5.11s have far greater durability.

90% of new customers are disgruntled 5.11 customers so I wouldn't say 5.11 is a superior product even though many of the tactical clothing companies have a niche that they are good at.

I have been in Iraq for 17 months and the 3 pair of 5.11 pants I brought over still look almost new. I did have a snap come off one pair after a month, I contacted 5.11 and they sent a new pair and said not to bother sending the old ones back. So I had the local hodgie tailor shop change to a button, so I have 4 pair I rotated through for the 17 months.
