There is a TON of our good customers who have APO addresses, but many of them are foreign nationals, not Americans. While we happy to ship them a binocular or a spotting scope to their APO/FPO address, we know that they are from NZ, Australia, Poland, UK, etc. But most importantly, there is no good, or better yet official way to verify what is "official business" according to the law, and this is the main reason. We support the troops and government employees overseas and send trucks of products on daily basis to our APO customers (we ship free of charge to any APO address even tho shipping via USPS is more expensive and a pain for us), but we only ship items that are not restricted in any way.

Here's a request, I'm in the market for a varmint scope on a flat top AR in .204 ruger for pds. I I blew most of my wad on the gun so only have ~$100 for a scope. What do you suggest in that range and/or slightly higher? Most shots will be less then 400yds. I think I want a 4-16x then a 6-24x but if its a better deal or your experience suggests more magnification I'll go w/ it. This is my first pd hunt so I'm a complete newbie. Heck this is the first scope I will own, all my rifles have iron sights.
2nd request, my wife fell in love with the Swarovski Z6 1.7-10x42 w/ the br reticle we saw at Bass Pro. What is comparable to that scope in the $4-600 range? She passed on several deer because of the iron sights were covering them, and they were 'fuzzier' then she remembered. It's her 40th B-day gift so I'm going to splurge, but hesitate to pay $1800+ to scope her old Remington 7400.
Any help would be appreciated.

"For 100 bucks you will only get the cheapest scope that can be made. It may work if you leave it on the same power, but tracking will be for crap. See this post on tracking:

The glass will probably be made out of recycled sandwich baggies and be just as clear. You need to spend more money to avoid making your gun a lot less useful than it can be. Do you fill your gas tank with kerosene? Use proper equipment. If you can’t depend on your scope to allow you to place your bullets properly, your whole shooting package is junk.
I have a friend that has a Tasco that he likes, and it’s cheap. Tasco 6-24x40 Target / Varmint Rifle scope 6-24x40 MAG624X40
As far Swarovski Z6 1.7-10x42 for your wife, you can’t compare one of the clearest and most technologically advanced riflescopes ever made with something that costs a fraction of the price. Leupold scopes are in your price range and I love mine.
For her deer hunting and your dog shooting you should pool the money and get decent scopes for both of you instead of junk on one gun and more that necessary on another.
Here’s my choices:
Simmons Master Series ProHunter 6-21x44 SF Rifle Scopes for you
Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x42 Rifle scope for her.
It is, of course, your choice on what product you ultimately decide to purchase and how much money to spend, we always take care of our customers and make sure our customers are happy and come back to us for more.

I just ordered a scout scope mount for my Saiga .308. Is there a way to search your site and get a listing of scopes that have long eye relief, ie. 12" or more? If not I'll do it the old fashioned way, but am hoping for an easier way. Thanks.

We offer well over 500,000 products in over 300 product categories with different parameters, features, and options. Often no information is available in a structured way from the manufacturer. Just to give you some examples, we carry 47 brands of binoculars, over 7000 different holsters (left, right, leather, plastic, etc variations with many of them special order because we have not even seen such guns). We sell a ton of customized Leupold Custom rifle scopes where not only we can have Leupold change the color of the scope or engrave something, but we can have them change its reticle and put a custom ballistically matched reticle or custom bullet drop compensation dial in your scope (we have an expert just to review and check such orders so what customer orders actually makes sense). Try to classify the specs for these things. Normally we just have to rely on our experienced Product Specialists. Former Navy, Marines, Army soldiers, avid hunters, etc know their stuff, so if you send us a detailed email with what exactly you are looking for, what application and what price range, you would normally get an answer within 24 hours during work week. Phone calls and online chat during business hours are great, but if you send us an email, our experts will have a bit more time to research the question and get back to you with a more detailed answer.
If we dont reply right away, please give us a bit of time. We have been absolutely swamped with calls, emails and orders after Christmas. We are guessing a lot of people did not get the gifts they wanted, so now they just shop for themselves and buy what they really wanted for the holidays ;-)

I have to say I'm glad I'm a forum member and found this site. I was looking for a light like the TLR2, and you had the cheapest price online and in person. I think I'll be picking one up as soon as i get my pistol, hopefully Tuesday.
