There has been the Oddest gun thread, the Oldest gun thread, COUNTLESS caliber and Steel VS Tupperware threads.
My question is how many rounds do you leave the house with on your average day?
I carry a Para p12 and an AMT 45. Both are condition 1. That means 10+1 in the EDC, 10 in the spare mag and then 5+1 in the BUG with an extra mag there for a total of 32. The Para has 230 GR Hydra Shoks and the AMT has 185 HS alternated with FMJ.
With my normal EDC, a Glock-36, I have 7 rounds. With my Glock-26, I have 21 rounds, and with my Ruger SP101, I have 10 rounds (each of these includes an extra mag/speed strip).
On rare occasions, I would have either the G-36 or the G-26 along with the added Ruger.
But what if there are two of them!!!!!???? :icon_neutral: I'd wait till they were in line, and shoot em with on FMJ! the through and through will get em!!!
somewhere between 10-27 lol..depends on which gun im taking and if I feel the need/want to carry a spare mag/speed strips....a "full load" for me with the snubby is 17 rounds(5 in the gun + 2 speed strpis of 6 each) a full load out for the Ruger SR9c would be 27 10 in the short CC mag + 17 in the hi cap reload...sometimes if im just venturing out for a quick "run to the store" I will just take whats in the gun and not bother with reloads...if im gonna go to a bad section of town, or be gone all day to various places I will normally take the reloads.
Glock 23: 13+1 and sometimes a spare mag depending on where I'm going or how long I'll be gone, so something between 14-27
1911: 8+1 and a spare mag or two, again depending on where I'm going or how long I'll be gone. So, something between 15-25
EDC - Glock G19 15+1 in gun plus 17 round in spare magazine = 33 rounds of 9mm
BUG - Kel-Tec P-3AT 6+1 in gun plus 6 in spare magazine = 13 rounds of .380 acp
Minimum 16 rounds (Glock 19 only), Maximum 46 rounds (Glock & BUG)
Current EDC is a PT1911 so 8+1 in the gun and a 10rd mag in the pocket = 19
