I'm new to this forum, but wanted to share my excitement..... I'm in the process of getting my ccl (waiting on a class) and finally got my hands on an M&P Shield. I wanted a 9mm but ended up landing a .40...... Its awesome! Shot it today with my dad and love it. I first bought a Ruger lc9 but really didn't like it at all once I shot it, so I went to my local gun store to look some more he had just received the Shield the day before. I was the first one to look at it. Someone actually called and asked for it while I was there, but I got it! :image035:
Thanks.... I will certainly enjoy it! I'v been lurking on this forum for a while and really like all the info I'm getting on here. Everyone seems welcoming and respectful.
Yep, There were two people coming to look at it, and one of them was gonna buy it. I just happened to get to it first! The store owner told me it was coming, and I called every day till it came in on Wed. evening and I picked it up on Thur. morning. =)
Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your purchase. Im thinking about buying a shield to complement my 9c. Be sure and give us a full range report on how it does. Sounds like the shiels are nice little guns.
Range report: Just put 200 rounds through my new 9mm Shield a little while ago. Flawless. Accurate. Easy to shoot. All I can say is it is an awesome little carry piece. It's a keeper. Got a UBG Canute inbound for it. Great little gun that is at the top of the slim single stack class for me. Beats the P9 and PM9 all to hell and back as far as i am concerned.
Great glad you got one. I got a 9mm shield at a gun show a couple of weeks ago. just kinda walked into it lucked out and walked away with it . I like it a lot I'm sure you'll like yours. Enjoy it be safe.
