If you like, click on "Public Comment" and the joy begins during minute 2. There's a big effort in my town to make our parks gun-free-safe-zones so here they are in all their glory for the world to see:

The anti gun groups just don't get it, Gun free zones are the hunting grounds for the scumbags and has been proven over and over again. Another comment heard often at local government meetings is; "it is your, the governement body, "responsibility to protect me". Not so.

I watched just half of the township meeting because frankly after listening to these anti's get up one after the other I was fed up with their whiny "I can't understand why you won't rescind your decision..." TBT the anti's are damn lucky I wasn't the top dog of those county commissioners. I would have asked for a show of hands of the anti's and then had a deputy escort these riff raff OUT.

To the lady who said people carrying guns in the parks were brandishing need to get out a DICTIONARY and READ THE DEFINITION for the word 'brandishing'.

Finally to see 6 or 7 commissioners sitting together siding with the 2A is such a pleasant rarity I am near speechless. To the anti's that were at that meeting I have many words. Unfortunately because of the rules here I cannot relate those words. Suffice to say they would be in keeping with a typical WWII US Navy sailor drunk and disorderly and in a foul mood. I need a drink.

Where in the world do these people come up with their facts?! Some of what these sheeple were saying had me speechless with shock. The old guy at the end especially had me dumbfounded. If these are your neighbors then I truly feel for you OP.

The second speaker just doesn't get it either! She states Newtown and the gun violence that happened and states that they should make the parks "Gun Free" so the gun violence that occurred in Newtown would be prevented!!!! ?????? I thought Newtown violence was in a GUN FREE zone....I am sure I didn't miss anything. Prevent? These people are completely wrong.

One board member got it right, "Criminals do not follow the law so Gun Free Zones don't work".

Haven't watched it yet because I'm on my phone but I can already tell you that the OP title makes no sense. I'll watch it later.

Forgot to mention that there's evidence of a coordinated effort to use this to try to bait our elected officials into doing or saying something that can be used in future campaign flyers. Immoral is the first word that appears. I'll be monitoring of course and reporting any findings.

OUR state Legislature...... when cities started trying to make CC illegal in parks, public places, etc. after the CC laws passed...... went in and modified the State Law to state that cities could not make CC illegal in any public place outdoors, and could only restrict CC inside "buildings" ... via appropriately applied AG appproved signage in the manner as prescribed by the law. Period.

Oh... the moaning, the groaning, etc. And, since it's been the law .... there have been zero problems.

There are those that will "whine" forever, even when the facts, etc. don't support them in any way. Don't these people get "pre-emption" ..... LOL. IS there something in the water there .... like Ritalin ?? Man live, these folks really don't get it do they ? Wow.

I told myself I need to refrain from watching the video, lest I allow myself to respond with a string of profanities. I've been drinking Midnight Moon all night and my filter quit working hours ago. I'll watch it in the morning when my sense of humor returns.

After watching this I figured I would check out my local city codes on this issue. My local city has a municipal code banning firearms in a local city owned park. Hmmmm? Seems strange since it is against the State Constitution.

One would think seeking to make a community crime-free would be the goal, instead of assuming guns=crime and that getting rid of one necessarily has anything to do with the other. But, that would require thinking, and that doesn't seem to be a popular thing these days.

Maybe they should handed out sheets to all of them on the definition of 'pre-emption" by the State and a copy of the State Law. How many times do they have to say ... you have to take it up with your State Representative, yet they just keep talking about how they don't think that's right. ..... LMAO.
