I think the problem is most of them aren't on the market yet. I too am very interested as there's not enough out there in the way of pump action rifles and .45 LC in a pump action rifle seems like a real winner.
I think 26" for .357 is probably too much though. I bet $1 that you aren't getting very much velocity out of the last 4 inches. But still it's a cool idea for a rifle.
I suspect they'll have this part of the R&D worked out somehow.
I'll have to see one myself since I now have something in .45LC in the house.
