The one with the shock absorber works. Makes the gun surprisingly comfortable to shoot. I have shot clay birds with a "tactical" shotgun all afternoon with no brusing, injury, or flinches.
Yep exactly. One actually works and one is cosmetic. I almost made that mistake! Back when I bought my 870 with the Knoxx on it already from Remington, it was impossible to find the recoil reducing stock by itself. Also its kinda crappy they make you buy a tool from them to put it on for another $15
oh shnap, thanks for the heads up! :hand1:
Is it just a special kind of bolt, like a torx or something that I might be able to find a lot cheaper at harbor freight? Got a picture?
The reason I was looking at the knoxx stock was for the fiance. Her arms aren't long enough for a standard length stock, and I was hoping this way I could quickly adjust it for her to be able to shoot.
...how hard is it to adjust the length?
Adjusting the length is a piece of cake. Takes about half a second. Simply push up on a piece of the stock and slide..Its on the bottom
