I didn't see "assault rifle" rifle anywhere in its description?

What about it makes it specifically designed for "assaults"?

Not a bad price. Fail on the media buzzword marketing terminology. The A in "AR" stands for Armalite. Much like the C in ".45 ACP" stands for Colt.

I apologize about the delayed response, it's been crazy busy.
There are two main reasons we post our products here: 1. Is to sell to forum members 2. To sell to customers who use search engines to find products.
Two of the many things that have to do with searching with google, yahoo, etc. are site relevance and key words that people search with. Our thread being on the forum covers the relevance part, calling this gun an "assault rifle", which may not be technically accurate, IS what the media would coin this firearm and many others. Therefore, the average joe looking to buy one, may search AR, or AR-15, or assault rifle, etc etc...you get the picture. The search engine "spiders" will then locate our thread, see the key term, and hopefully come up as an option somewhere on the first couple of pages. It is way more complicated than that, or everyone would do it, but it is a small piece of the puzzle. So that is why I used that terminology. I am well aware that ArmaLite is what the "A" stands for since they created the design before they sold it to Colt. Apologies for the confusion.

No sir. Various reasons: adjustable stock, flash supressor, I'm sure there are others, but those are two that I'm pretty sure are CA no no's. Just to be 100% sure, you would want to check with a local dealers or your local ATF.
