Aloha ALL,

I'd recommend this as a good starter, because it is cheap, expendable, and lots of LEARNING can be done with it, it is durable and gives a lotta bang for the buck:

Boker Plus Trance:

OR...the Boker Plus DIREKT for the same reasons as the Trance, but it has a Ti-coat, and a sub-hilt feel to it:

OR...you could possibly get two of these in regards to the price you mentioned...one for carry and drone one out as a trainer and train, practice, rinse, wash and repeat.
