My son's LCP is a later production than mine and has the raised slide stop which I found to be nice. I think I'll advise him not to return his pistol but I'll probably return mine just to get that feature. I don't know why there is so much negativism regarding Rugar out there. They build outstanding products and show integrity by recognizing a potential error and making it right by a recall. This is an expensive process and I'm sure Rugar doesn't undertake something of this magnitude lightly. I say give 'em a break.
