I depend upon Fist hosters for most of my needs. (See 'Related Links' above.)
I have also grown accustomed to the the Fist #41 IWB/SOB holster with a clip. I now have one for five of my pistols, but I really only carry two...my Kimber Ultra or my Glock-36.

The Fist #41 IWB/SOB is a small of the back holster that does not need to rest on the spine, but rather over the kidney at about 5:00 - 5:30. What make this holster unique is the 'palm out' draw that prevents sweeping the body during the draw. No more of the body is 'swept' than using any other IWB holster.
If you try drawing with your hand and keep the palm out, you'll see the difference immediately.

As far at comfort goes, I seldom even feel the gun or the holster anymore...there seems to be that 'niche' that I have found and it's like forgetting you have your watch on...

Here in FL I usually wear shorts and an open print shirt. I can easily put my hand on my weapon prior to drawing and my preparation can not be distinguished from reaching for my wallet.
"You want my wallet? OK, let me get it for you!"

Others will play on the safety issue, but I have no problems with this type of carry, and now actually prefer it to all the others.
I know several other gentleman who carry the exact same way and swear by it...I have grown to enjoy its comfort.

Stay armed...find your own 'niche'...stay safe!
