Thank You P95...I've not heard of anyone being injured in any way by too many safety classes, lessons or thoughts.

I would hope all new people visit here and I would like just to add that as for myself being former military and LEO the first four rules are pretty much ingrained for me. It is that #5 that I have had and am still trying to master, I think for people who are buying their first weapon it is the very first they should learn. None of the other rules can apply if you dont have your gun.

If some of you say I am crazy you will be correct in some regards

But when I made the choice to go CC I bought the weapon without any rounds at all. I then practiced "keeping up" with it for several weeks before the first round was bought. With children in the house it was an absolute must for me. Where is it when I am..? Transferring from vehicle to home and such. Maintaining full and complete control of the weapon at all times during all situations was the first thing I had to assure.

I know everyone's situation is different but I believe if you are here because you just bought your first weapon.....?

Rule #5 is the First Rule you need to learn IMO

Thanks again P95 and all of you for this excellent forum. It is LOADED with information. Yea yea there's a Pun.... for me ehh?

Safety.... First
Safety.... Second
Trigger....Third
Fire.........Fourth
