Update---may 19

I spoke with a Supervisor type today about this recall. I have since my last post decided to hold onto mine until the backlog is somewhat cleared.

Dude said work had begun and a VERY FEW had been sent back out, he did stress that it was at this point a very few. The backlog is now near 20K guns.

They are currently doing 200-300 guns a day with goals of 500-600 per day, It was his advice to just hold on to mine rather than wait for months for it to be returned.

He also said not all guns will be re-worked as all do not have problems, they were required by law to recall ALL of them anyway. Some may well just be inspected and marked and sent back but there is no way to tell without sending them in.

I was really hoping for a better report today but at least they are working on them and I will call them back every 10-14 days to check status and update here as I do.

He did say they were hiring extra people but that they had to be trained....Also I think some of the call-center people are temps. or brand new as the girl I got first just kept reading a script to me rather than listening to and answering my questions, I had to ask for Supervisor. She wanted my serial number to check and see if they had it after I told her I had it in MY hand!....Then she wanted to send me a label after I told her I had one. If you do call bypass folks who wont listen and ask for a supervisor.

I wish it could have been a better report but it is what it is
