Hello from Texas!
Hey everyone! I suppose Im the newest one on board!
I found this forum indirectly though Limalife's videos on Youtube. Shes got great vids and send link to a lot of people with questions. I found this forum listed on her blog and here I am!
Im a CHL holder here in Texas and have been for almost two years. I've always said I was never a "gun guy" but once my son was born, I became a "Dont want to be killed by a drug dealer guy". And since then, I have become a gun guy. I didnt even OWN a firearm until just a couple of years ago. I take my right to carry very seriously and Im always trying to encourage others to give it some thought.
I carry a Taurus PT 24/7 Pro .45 daily. Its with me 24/7 (Hey, its like they KNEW when they named it). I personally have weighed out my options and for me lower abdomen carry is my choice but I also wear a kilt so its a little easier to conceal a little deeper. My current holster is a SmartCarry and Ive been extremely happy with it.
Future guns for me are focused mostly on a 1911 around the new year, thanks again to Limalife for that! Her vids on 1911's took some of the mystery out of the workings of that gun and showed how simple it is.
