Okay so if I leave my handguns in FL until the license is approved don't the gun's make,model,serial number and caliber need to be listed on the license? Do the gun's need to be inspected prior to them being added to the permit? Would I be able to legally bring my Remington 870(being its a long gun) into the state for home defense with out a permit?

john452 are Chautauqua and Cattaragus counties good with issuing unrestricted permits? If so what the wait times in these counties? thanks for the help so far guys.
