Though I have had a carry permit for more than a few years, I still consider my self a rookie at this stuff. I don't feel particularly threatened in my life, but I am retired and 60. (Never thought about being this old!!!!
) I carry an old S&W M-36 2" sometimes, just to even the odds, should I run into some "young toughs" in my travels about my area. I live just north of the Hartford-Springfield-Holyoke area, known for gang-drug related crime. It seems fairly safe on this side of the mountain.
I'm looking forward to learning something from you guys, but I won't have too much to say....since I am a rookie.
