I bought my G/F a Taser C2 about a yr and a half ago as an alternative to her carry weapon...she mainly wanted it b/c it came in pink *sigh*

Here in Vegas there's a good chance it will be effective given it's hot/warm 99% of the time. I doubt the effectiveness would be there in colder climates/winter if an assailant has heavy clothes/jackets on. I have not researched this, just a presumption on my part based on the function of prongs. Also once the prongs have been deployed it can be used as a stun gun.

PS, be careful if you do get one...can't tell you how many times I've almost given myself a shot out of curiosity! And no, not on 'tong mode', contact mode...C2 zaps for a full 30 sec unlike a PD taser (3 or 5 secs) to give the user time to escape.
