I have an XD .45 5" myself
Haven't had the chance to let my father shoot it yet though. He only owns one auto at the moment that I'm aware of and it's a .25. Better than nothing, but a bit light for a defense round. I've always thought of him as a "revolver type" as that's what he mainly owns. Was surprised when he asked me about a Sigma, and since I wasn't sure, I decided to ask the people that were sure
