I pocket-carry my Kel Tek P3AT with a round chambered all the time. It takes some effort to pull the trigger on a DAO - you're incredibly unlikely to catch it on anything with enough force to pull it. Just be careful when you're putting it IN your pocket, but particularly if you use a pocket holster that covers the trigger, you should never have a problem.
