I had my LEEK fall out of my back pocket numerous times, until I attached a short length of small chain to it with a clip that I fasten it to my belt loop with. The pocket clip is a very insecure way to carry the knife, and it increases the likelihood of losing the knife if precautions are not taken. The chain was from a wallet, like a biker wallet. The chain is long enough that I can use the knife in close, but if I need to cut something at full arms length I release the knife from the chain. My knife is not intended for defensive use. I would not want to risk cutting myself by trying to use the Leek as a weapon, since the grip is so thin and slick.
