Just read this thread so sorry its long past most posts (July-ish). I have quite a few Max products-3 Fatboys (got to have all the colors),
several pouches,wallets and a backpack. They are all bomb-proof!.
We were in Zimbabwe going down the hiway at nearly 70mph and my husband's Fatboy with the binos and rangefinder flew off! The bag had a small roadrash on it but the stuff inside was untouched!
I use the Fatboy as a purse/CCW platform. It carries my Smith, speedloader,Surefire, Benchmade and all the other stuff a girl needs.
Can't say enough good stuff about Maxpedition products!
